Rules for ordering and purchasing a new saddle

1. SADDLE SELECTION AND FITTING

At the Client’s request, we help choose and fit saddles available in stock.

If no suitable saddle is available, the horse can be measured according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. The rider’s leg length, seat position, and posture habits are also evaluated to determine the appropriate saddle size, flap shape, seat depth, and other details.

The collected measurements of the horse and rider are sent to the manufacturer, who provides recommendations for the most suitable model, size, and configuration.

The Client may choose leather type, color, decorations, knee block size, and other custom details.

If the Client wishes, our specialist can visit the stable with several saddles for trial fitting. The rider may briefly ride with the test saddle at normal gaits.

2. ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once the Client confirms the choice, a Saddle Order Agreement is prepared and signed together with an Attachment listing specific parameters. These parameters are received from the manufacturer in abbreviated form. The company representative responsible for saddle fitting must explain the meaning of each abbreviation to the Client. After confirming understanding of the saddle version and configuration, the Client signs below the listed parameters.

Before ordering, the Client must pay at least 50% advance payment of the saddle’s price.

Production begins only after receipt of this payment. The remaining amount must be paid once the manufacturer confirms that the saddle is completed and ready for shipment.

Production time depends on the manufacturer and typically ranges from 6 to 12 weeks.

IMPORTANT:

After the Client signs the order confirmation, the saddle’s model, color, or configuration cannot be changed unless both parties agree in writing.

Upon delivery, the Client is informed about saddle preparation for use and maintenance instructions.

3. DELIVERY AND WARRANTY

At the Client’s request, the saddle can be shipped to the specified address using the chosen courier service. If shipped, the risk of transport damage passes to the Client at the moment the parcel is handed over to the courier.

Warranty service, if required, is provided by the manufacturer, and the seller – JSC Horsemarket – will assist in coordinating warranty claims.

4. SADDLE FIT AND ADJUSTMENTS

JSC Horsemarket strives to select a saddle that best suits the specific horse and rider.

However, since each saddle is custom-made, there is no absolute guarantee that it will perfectly fit or satisfy the rider and/or horse.

Because the saddle is produced based on individual measurements, without direct evaluation of the horse or rider, the seller cannot be held responsible if the ordered saddle does not fit.

If necessary and technically feasible, the saddle may be returned to the manufacturer for adjustments.

Shipping and correction costs are covered by the Client, except in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects.

UAB Horsemarket assists in coordinating adjustments and communication with the manufacturer but does not cover related expenses unless officially approved as warranty repairs.

5. RETURNS

A saddle manufactured according to the Client’s and horse’s individual measurements and choices cannot be returned or exchanged. Exceptions apply only in cases where the manufacturer confirms a production defect or the saddle does not correspond to the signed specifications.
