CWD classic saddle range is changing its name to better reflect the technology of its tree.

The name OPTIM was initially chosen to reflect an optimisation of the materials used in the traditional tree, thanks to:

- the integration of a metal and carbon-filled polypropylene reinforcement in the tree to improve its strength.

- The addition of a moulded polypropylene seat and stirrup leather knives integrated directly into the tree for greater proxoimity.

- The integration of a foam zone in the seat for improved rider comfort.

-Soft polypropylene arch legs that allow the horse 's shoulder to move freely

A combination of materials that are much lighter than wood and metal trees (1150 g vs.1650g for a traditional tree)

CWD Optim saddles have a new tree with a wooden frame, polypropylene seat and composite stirrup bars for more lightness than a traditional wooden and metal tree.

Memory foam has been incorporated, which is more comfortable for the rider and provides better positioning of the pelvis. The panels are now attached with screws which are integrated into the panels, improving the saddle’s position on the horse's back removing pressure points and the arch is made from polypropolene.

The seat is directly integrated into the tree for optimal contact.
