HORSE BIT TRUST SWEET IRON BEVAL ELIPTICAL 16MM (Trial)

The Trust Sweet Iron Beval Elliptical bit offers a perfect balance between gentle action and enhanced control. Designed with beval rings, this bit provides light leverage, giving the rider more control than a standard snaffle while remaining milder than a traditional gag. Rein placement can be adjusted to vary the amount of poll and mouth pressure, making it a popular choice for ponies or horses that need slightly more precision.

The elliptical (double-jointed) mouthpiece distributes pressure more evenly over the tongue and bars while avoiding the "nutcracker" effect of single-jointed bits. This encourages relaxation, softness, and improved contact with the rider’s hand.

Made from Sweet Iron, the bit oxidizes in contact with air and saliva, producing a sweet taste that naturally stimulates salivation and promotes bit acceptance. The blue color will fade with use, indicating the oxidation process.
