The Copper-Roller D-Ring bit is an excellent choice for horses that respond sluggishly or have what is often referred to as a “dead mouth.” The copper-coated rollers encourage increased chewing activity, stimulating the mouth and improving the connection between horse and rider.

The fixed D-ring cheeks allow for direct pressure transmission to the tongue and lower jaw, while also applying gentle pressure on the poll, encouraging the horse to lower its head and relax. The D-ring shape keeps the bit stable in the mouth, preventing it from sliding and ensuring it's gentle on the corners of the mouth.

The lateral guidance provided by the D-rings is especially helpful for horses that tend to fall through the shoulder or become unbalanced on curves or when approaching fences. The fixed sides help guide the horse more accurately and maintain better balance.
