HORSE BIT STUBBEN LOOSE RING SNAFFLE DOUBLE BROKEN SWEET COPPER 2222 16MM (Trial)

The double-jointed loose ring snaffle is a versatile and widely used bit in equestrian disciplines. Known for its mild action, it is especially popular as a first bit for young horses or for sensitive horses in training. The loose, round rings move freely through the mouthpiece, allowing the horse to adjust the bit's position naturally. This promotes softness, responsiveness, and even pressure distribution across the tongue and bars.

The double-jointed mouthpiece lies comfortably in the horse’s mouth and reduces the nutcracker effect seen in single-jointed bits. When the reins are engaged evenly, the bit distributes pressure across the tongue and bars, encouraging relaxation and suppleness.

This version features a Sweet Copper mouthpiece, made of a special alloy containing 90% copper, 7% iron, and aluminum. It is nickel-free and extremely durable. The naturally sweet taste promotes better acceptance of the bit and stimulates chewing activity, which helps relax the jaw and improve contact.
