HORSE BIT TRUST SWEET IRON PELHAM WATERFORD 16MM

The TRUST Sweet Iron Pelham features a flexible, multi-linked Waterford mouthpiece designed to make it more difficult for the horse to lean on or take hold of the bit. The Pelham construction provides a more direct rein effect and additional control when needed.

The mouthpiece is made from Sweet Iron, which oxidises when exposed to air and moisture. This creates a surface layer of rust with a naturally sweet taste, encouraging saliva production and supporting a softer, more accepting contact. Over time, the original blue colour of the TRUST bit naturally changes to a brownish-grey tone as a result of oxidation.

If the bit is not used for some time, an orange-brown layer of surface rust may develop on the mouthpiece. This can easily be removed by wiping the bit with a damp cloth.
