HORSE BIT TRUST SWEET IRON KIMBLEHOOK BRASS RING 16MM

The TRUST Sweet Iron Kimblehook Brass Ring Bit combines the stimulating effect of the Brass Ring mouthpiece with the versatile control offered by the Kimblehook cheekpiece. This bit is ideal for horses that require additional responsiveness in the mouth while benefiting from a mild leverage effect and increased control.

The Brass Ring mouthpiece features brass rollers positioned in the centre of the mouthpiece. These rollers stimulate tongue activity and encourage chewing, making the bit particularly suitable for horses with a less responsive or "dead" mouth. Increased tongue movement promotes a more active contact and better acceptance of the rider's aids. For highly sensitive horses, the additional movement may create a more active mouth.

The Kimblehook cheekpiece provides a mild leverage effect and can be ridden with either one or two reins. The lower the rein is attached, the greater the leverage effect and influence on the horse. This allows riders to adjust the level of control according to the horse's needs and training level. The Kimblehook applies pressure to the mouth, poll, and chin groove when used with a curb strap or chain.

The mouthpiece is made from Sweet Iron, which naturally oxidises when exposed to moisture. This oxidation process creates a sweet taste that stimulates salivation and encourages the horse to accept the bit more readily.
