The TRUST Sweet Iron Beval Brass Ring Bit combines the stimulating action of the Brass Ring mouthpiece with the versatility of the Beval cheekpiece, making it an excellent choice for horses that require more responsiveness in the contact while offering the rider the option of mild leverage.

The Brass Ring mouthpiece features brass rollers positioned in the centre of the bit. These rollers encourage tongue activity and chewing, helping to create a lighter, more active contact. This mouthpiece is particularly suitable for horses with a less responsive or "dead" mouth that benefit from additional stimulation. Horses that are highly sensitive in the mouth may find the extra movement more noticeable.

The Beval cheekpiece consists of loose rings with two small half-rings positioned on the inside. The cheekpieces of the bridle attach to the upper half-ring, while the reins can be attached either to the main ring for a direct action or to the lower half-ring for a mild leverage effect and additional poll pressure. The bit can be ridden with one or two reins, allowing riders to adjust the level of influence according to the horse’s needs.

The mouthpiece is made from Sweet Iron, which naturally oxidises when exposed to moisture. This process creates a sweet taste that stimulates salivation and encourages the horse to accept the bit more willingly, promoting a softer and more consistent contact.
