MESH NEBULIZATION UNIT SaHoMa®-II

The SaHoMa®-II Mesh Nebulization Unit is the core component of the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses. It uses innovative mesh technology, combining a perforated membrane with a piezoelectric ceramic element to transform inhalation solutions into a fine aerosol. The extremely small openings in the mesh produce a fine mist designed for effective inhalation.

The unit is compatible with all SaHoMa®-II control units and can nebulize inhalation solutions approved for nebulizer use or tested and approved by NebuTec®.

Important Usage Information:

• A separate mesh nebulizer unit is recommended for each horse and each inhalation solution to reduce the risk of unwanted interactions, cross-contamination and infection.

• Only use inhalation solutions approved for nebulizer use or tested and approved by NebuTec®. A list of tested active ingredients is available from the manufacturer.

• Always follow the instructions for use.

Service Life and Replacement:

The mesh nebulizer unit is a consumable component subject to normal wear and tear. When used as intended, with one daily inhalation session using 15 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution (NaCl), its typical service life is approximately 30 days. The service life may vary depending on usage frequency, the volume inhaled and whether medication is used.

The unit cannot be repaired and should be replaced when its service life has been reached. Please consult the instructions for use for warranty information.
