This half pad is lined with an Australian Merino+ blend (70% merino wool, 30% acrylic). Combined with a flexible backing, the Merino+ lining washes more easily and dries faster than traditional wool, while maintaining exceptional softness and durability. The dense, dynamic wool structure naturally shapes to your horse’s back, delivering breathable support and outstanding comfort.

A newly developed quilt pattern helps the pad hug the horse’s contours more closely, enhancing stability under the saddle. The clear spine channel, high wither shaping, and anti-rub lumbar area ensure optimal fit, freedom of movement, and reduced pressure along sensitive areas. With improved length under the saddle, this half pad offers exceptional comfort for both training and competition.

Discreet and practical D-ring slits allow easy attachment to LeMieux saddle pads with elasticated D-ring tabs. Inside, the updated high-density foam inserts retain their shape while reducing pressure points. The pad is supplied with two sets of 5 mm foam shims, allowing precise saddle fit adjustment to suit your horse’s needs.

Care Instructions

• Remove hair, dirt, and dried sweat with a stiff brush

• Machine wash at 30°C on a cool/wool cycle or hand wash

• Use LeMieux Wool Wash

• Straighten/flatten cotton fabric after washing

• Air dry away from direct heat

• Never tumble dry

• Avoid strong fabric conditioners

• Ensure all hook & loop fastenings are firmly closed before washing
