PELHAM STUBBEN RUBBER COVERED SINGLE JOINTED 2242

The Stübben 2242 Pelham combines precise communication with horse comfort, making it an excellent choice for riders looking for controlled yet sensitive aids. The 16mm rubber-covered single-jointed mouthpiece is thinner than most standard rubber bits, reducing the risk of rubbing while ensuring a comfortable fit in the horse’s mouth. This bit is particularly suited for horses that respond well to mild leverage but require a softer contact.

Rubber-Covered Mouthpiece:

• Soft and comfortable for the horse, reducing pressure and discomfort.
• Enables gentle yet effective communication between horse and rider.
• At 16mm thickness, it is thinner than most rubber bits (typically 20mm+), reducing bulk and improving fit.
• Not suitable for horses that chew excessively, as the rubber cover can be damaged.

Pelham Functionality:

• Can be used with one or two reins for varying levels of control.
• Allows both direct rein pressure and leverage when needed, offering flexibility in training and competition.

Special Benefits of the Cheeks:

• Short 5cm shanks provide milder leverage while ensuring quick and direct rein response.
• Ideal for show jumping, especially in courses with tight turns that require immediate adjustments.
• Flat curb chain hooks prevent pinching and provide a more comfortable fit.
• Easy-to-adjust curb chain enhances stability and fit under the horse’s chin.

Stübben STEELtec Quality:

• Smooth, polished edges to protect the horse’s mouth.
• High-quality materials ensure durability and longevity.
• Special processing technology prevents wear in key areas, maintaining strength over time.

The Stübben 2242 Pelham is a well-balanced bit for riders seeking precise control, comfort, and quick rein response, making it a great choice for show jumping, eventing, and general training.
