UNIKA BALL GASTRO 1.8KG

UNIKA BALL GASTRO is a functional, grain-free and sugar-free enrichment ball formulated for horses requiring additional support for gastric and digestive health. It is particularly suitable for horses whose digestive comfort may be affected by stress or anxiety, as well as sport horses subjected to significant physical exertion.

The formula combines selected botanical ingredients and mineral components designed to support the gastric mucosa, digestive function and normal saliva production. Ingredients such as Lithophyllum, vegetable charcoal, mallow, lemon balm, marshmallow and peppermint provide targeted digestive and gastric support, while licorice extract contributes additional support for the stomach lining.

The ball encourages the horse to spend time licking and interacting with it, which can stimulate saliva production. Saliva is naturally alkaline and plays an important role in buffering gastric acid, making regular chewing and licking particularly valuable as part of good stable management.

UNIKA BALL GASTRO is grain-free and sugar-free, making it suitable for horses intolerant to grains or those following a low-glycaemic-index diet. It comes with a natural fibre rope for easy hanging in the stable or horsebox.

Handmade and produced in Italy, it is also a non-doping product, making it suitable for competition horses.
