Cortaflex® HA Regular Solution

Complementary feed for horses and ponies to support joint health and mobility

Cortaflex® HA Regular Solution is designed for the nutritional maintenance of healthy joints in horses and ponies in light to moderate work, as well as older horses and ponies requiring additional support for mobility.

The palatable liquid formulation provides key nutritional building blocks essential for joint support, including collagen, amino acids, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), hyaluronic acid and trace elements. These nutrients contribute to the maintenance of healthy cartilage, joint fluid and connective tissues.

The product is low in sugar, making it suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis, including situations where owners prefer to avoid the use of glucosamine.

Manufactured by Equine America, Cortaflex® HA Regular Solution is BETA NOPS and UFAS accredited. This ensures suitability for horses competing under FEI regulations and the Rules of Racing, by minimising the risk of prohibited substances being present.

The formulation is tried and tested, with over 2 million units sold worldwide.

Important information for horses competing under the Rules of Racing:
When fed at recommended levels, this product contains controlled amounts of MSM, which is classified as a threshold substance under the Rules of Racing. For further advice, please contact the manufacturer’s technical team.

Monitoring for the presence of specified Naturally Occurring Prohibited Substances (NOPS) is carried out in line with BETA NOPS guidelines, as required under the Rules of Racing and affiliated competition regulations. Adherence to these guidelines ensures that the risk of prohibited substances is kept to an absolute minimum.

Cartilage is the elastic, spongy tissue that covers the ends of bones within a joint, acting as a major shock absorber and reducing friction during movement. Joint (synovial) fluid should be thick and viscous to lubricate the joint effectively and provide additional shock absorption.
