DERBY Gastro-Sport is a grain-free, pelleted complementary feed for horses with high digestibility. The pelleting process ensures optimal nutrient availability, making the feed easy to digest and efficiently metabolized, thereby supporting gastric health.

Short-term exposure to steam during pelleting ensures hygienization of the feed. This makes DERBY Gastro-Sport particularly suitable for horses with sensitive stomachs and supports smooth, stable digestion.

Pectins from apple pomace provide a rich source of dietary fiber and form a natural structural fiber. These pectins create a protective gel layer on the gastrointestinal mucosa. Phospholipids contained in lecithin are essential structural components of stomach and intestinal mucosal cells and support natural mucosal regeneration.

Feeding recommendation

(amounts in kg / horse / day as sole concentrate in addition to sufficient hay or grass silage)

If fed below the recommended amount, vitamin and mineral supply must be ensured with DERBY Mineral Pellets.
For moderate and heavy workloads, supplementation with DERBY Electrolyte is recommended.
Fresh drinking water must always be available.

53.8 % dried apple pomace, sunflower extraction meal, linseed extraction meal with soapstock, beet molasses pulp, 6.0 % alfalfa green meal, vegetable fatty acids (sunflower, maize, rapeseed, soy), calcium carbonate, 0.8 % brewer’s yeast, Lithothamnium, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium citrate, brewer’s grains, sodium chloride, magnesium oxide, magnesium phosphate.
