The Freejump PLUME Airvest represents the next generation of equestrian body protection, combining advanced safety technology with exceptional lightness, comfort, and freedom of movement. Designed with a tubeless and seamless construction, PLUME sets a new benchmark in airbag vest innovation and was awarded the 2026 SPOGA Innovation Award.

At least 25% lighter than a traditional riding airbag vest, PLUME features a revolutionary multi-layer textile construction without an internal bladder, assembled using ultrasonic welding technology. This creates an ultra-thin, breathable airvest that feels lightweight while delivering maximum performance and protection in the saddle.

The vest is engineered to protect vital areas including the thorax, vital organs, neck, spine, and lumbar region. Its inflatable collar provides enhanced cervical support when used together with a certified riding helmet. With an ultra-fast inflation time of 90 ms (size M), PLUME exceeds the NF S72-800-2022 safety standard for equestrian airbags.

Designed for everyday riding, PLUME offers precise and easy adjustment thanks to its strap fitting system and is available in men’s and women’s cuts for an ergonomic and secure fit.

The PLUME Airvest is 100% designed and manufactured in France in Freejump’s workshops in Bordeaux using French-made textiles. Every vest is individually tested to ensure maximum reliability and safety.

PLUME is compatible with jackets from more than 20 equestrian apparel brands certified according to the NF S72-800-2022 standard.

Care Instructions

• Use HEY Airbag Cleaner as needed to remove dirt and odours
• Machine washable with the FREEJUMP Washing Kit only
• Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle
• No spin cycle
• Use mild detergent only
• Recommended maximum: 10 machine washes during the product’s lifetime
• Follow the User Guide carefully for cleaning and storage instructions

Service & Warranty

• Service inspection recommended after 10 inflations
• Free service overhaul within 12 months from purchase
• After 12 months: service fee €75
• 2-year European warranty against manufacturing defects (or longer where local law applies)
