Made from high-quality flax oil grown and produced in the UK, Supreme Omega Oil provides an ideal Omega 3 to Omega 6 fatty acid ratio of approximately 3.7:1, helping to support the horse’s natural inflammatory response, immune function, joint health, nervous system, reproductive health, and overall performance.

Omega 3 fatty acids play an important role in maintaining balance within the body. Modern horse diets based on cereals and dried forage often provide higher levels of Omega 6 fatty acids and lower levels of Omega 3, while fresh grass naturally contains a more favourable Omega 3:Omega 6 ratio. Supplementing with flax oil helps provide a natural source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which horses can convert into the beneficial Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.
