BERIS KIMBLEWICK KONNEX (Trial)

These bits combine the effect of a port with the positive features of the butterfly bar. The profile of the Beris KONNEX bar is slimmer, allowing for a more comfortable fit in the horse’s mouth. Additionally, the port is significantly wider, creating more space for the tongue.

They are particularly suitable for horses with limited space in the mouth – such as Thoroughbreds or older horses (due to age-related changes in tooth alignment), horses with large tongues, or those sensitive to pressure on the tongue.

The Kimblewick bit offers an effective combination of leverage on the lower jaw, poll pressure, and a shift in position inside the mouth. Three different rein attachment options allow for fine-tuning the bit’s effect. The solid side pieces give the bit weight, ensuring a steadier, more stable position in the mouth.
