Höveler PUR.LUZERNE – 100% Natural Alfalfa for Horses

Höveler Original PUR.LUZERNE is a pressed alfalfa cob feed made from young, leafy alfalfa plants. This single-ingredient feed contains no artificial additives, flavors, or molasses.

Thanks to gentle compression, all vital nutrients of alfalfa – known as the “queen of forage plants” – are preserved. With its excellent amino acid profile, PUR.LUZERNE supports muscle development, making it ideal for:

• underweight horses,

• sport horses,

• growing young horses,

• breeding mares and stallions.

It is also naturally rich in calcium, making it a perfect complement to grain-based diets or even a *partial grain substitute.

Feeding recommendation (per 100 kg body weight):

• No work: 0.1–0.2 kg

• Light work: 0.2–0.3 kg

• Underweight horses: 0.3–0.4 kg

*1.2 kg alfalfa = approx. 1 kg grain.

Recommended to soak before feeding – soaking time in warm water is approx. 15 minutes.
